Your Word is all we have
To learn the sacred path
Chosen for us so long ago
Please show us the way to go
And teach our hearts to laugh

O Lord the Bible is sacred
Its pages so precious and rare
In it your Word is concentrated
We find the Good News there.
It’s your Holy Spirit we trust
To open the Bible to us
For it is life’s meaning that we need,
And it is your Will that we are to heed
